Spain and most of continental Europe run UTC+1 in winter and UTC+2 in summer. Mexico City is usually six or seven hours behind Madrid depending on DST on both continents. Buenos Aires stays at UTC-3 year-round, putting it four to five hours behind Madrid. Bogotá matches US Eastern Standard Time in winter (UTC-5).
Suggested windows
European morning (09:00–12:00 CET) often maps to early morning in Mexico and mid-morning in Argentina—acceptable for urgent calls if announced ahead. European afternoon (15:00–18:00 CET) hits morning in Mexico City and late morning in São Paulo—usually the best compromise for business.
